  I booked in November appointments for my son and I. The appointment went great for my son. Mine was suppose to be for 2pm today. I confirmed a week ago via phone. I had to find a babysitter because school was cancelled. I found one thankfully. But my appointment had to be done by 3:00 approx., showed up at 1:50 because maybe I could have squeezed in early as it is a snow day for most. Apparently it changed from from 2:10 to 2:20 and she tried say 10 minutes late isn't bad speaking at 2:30. I agree, 10 minutes is fine. I get things change, but please inform me of those changes. The part that always gets me though is that to this day they call my mom and brother for our appointments, even after I say please remove those contacts. Top it off, the dentist is different every time I go! Of course my little sticky note with 2:00 probably means nothing to them.

  All the staff at Cowichan Valley Dental are very caring, and Dr. Youssef and Dr. Ruddy are amazing. I love it there!

  SOME of the staff are nice, and others ... not so much. I had a check-up and teeth cleaning done. Then a follow up to do some fillings and one root canal! Which may I mention the lady totally placed the rubber dam on the wrong tooth! NOT okay. Luckily The other staff member took notice and asked her to do it again... but could you imagine a root canal being done on the wrong tooth? Not good. So I had that root canal done, and it was all fine. Anyways to keep the rest short and simple, please don’t keep scheduling me for appointments that don’t fit in with MY schedule. I’ve had a quite a few texts, emails and voicemails asking me to come in at these dates and times. & I haven’t confirmed any since the last time I showed up and they claimed I was late to MY 11am appointment and they mixed it up, and said I already missed it and it was at 9am. Well I wasn’t going to waste time and argue so I walked out. I just now requested they close my file and take me off their services. I hope your experience is and will be different from mine, because it was all fine and dandy until I felt pushed and pressured over and over again. It all just seemed wrong in the end.   Worst place to go. Not only my personal experience. It happened to my entire family that I referred to go there. So they treat you kindly that’s no doubt but are they ever pushy on appointments or changing appointments without Confirming the change to be okay. That was one problem. Second huge problem which annoyed the hell out of me. Constant phone calls,texts or emails confirming appointments never made. So one day I got fed up while I was at work. Told them to stop contacting me. Take me off your list. Then I get a bill stating missed appointments. Which none I had confirmed or heard about. Don’t get me wrong. Kind people but are they ever pushy. So now I hear my family which is a huge family (15 sibs) is gettingg the same harassment. So if this fits you. By all means go to them. But I
